This paper introduces a publicly available database of some 83 pile tests from 33 sites in Cork City, Ireland. Ground conditions in Cork City are poor and the majority of the piles are founded in fluvio-glacial sands and gravels. The pile test data is accompanied by available data on ground conditions at the sites, which mostly comprises the results of standard penetration tests (SPT) and particle size distribution tests (PSD). There is a paucity of full scale pile loading tests in gravelly soils published in the literature and the database will be of value to both local engineers and those working internationally in similar ground conditions.
