Highlights:-Intrathecal clonidine increases the risk of hypotension during cesarean delivery and in the recovery room.-Intravenous supplementation and conversion to general anesthesia are less common with intrathecal clonidine.-This study supports safe intrathecal clonidine use if postoperative hypotension is properly monitored and treated.
