Abstract This article focuses on the global and semi‐global fixed‐time synchronization problems of delayed inertial neural networks (DINNs) with mixed impulsive effects. By constructing a drive‐response model, a nonsingular fixed‐time controller including linear terms and double power terms is designed to achieve fast convergence, whether the initial error is large or small. An improved radially unbounded Lyapunov function is proposed, which combines delay‐dependent integral terms and impulsive attenuation coefficients to effectively characterize the impacts of time‐varying delays and mixed impulses on system dynamics. Sufficient conditions for the system to achieve semi‐global and global fixed‐time synchronization are proposed, and the upper bound of the convergence time is derived. Finally, numerical simulations confirm the theoretical results, demonstrating the effectiveness and robustness of the presented control strategy.
