The Democratic Accelerator Audit Protocol is an epistemic governance specification for AI in planning consultation. It sets out three diagnostic questions and seven design principles, each rendered as a positive criterion, a failure mode, and an evidence requirement suitable for an independent audit. The protocol specifies the institutional conditions under which AI-mediated planning consultation can remain accountable to the publics it serves. Companion artefact to Lozano Paredes (forthcoming), 'AI as Democratic Accelerator: Resolving the Paralysis Paradox in Urban Planning'. Version 0.1 is released for community comment.
