Statement of the problem. The regulatory requirements of the Russian Federation do not define clear requirements for the use of chemical additives when combined as a binder cement and bitumen emulsion, for the construction of road foundations from organic mineral mixtures or reinforced soils. This led to the need to substantiate the possibility of using the domestic additive MADOR to perform this type of work, in order to improve the physical and mechanical as well as structural characteristics of the road surface foundation. Results. An overview of the results of studies of the effect of the MADOR additive on the properties of organic and mineral mixtures and soils containing an inorganic binder — cement and an organic binder — bitumen emulsion is given. The results of studies of the structure of sandy soil reinforced with cement and bitumen emulsion are presented. Based on the research, recommendations are provided for improving the technology of installing reinforced road foundations based on cement and bitumen emulsion. Conclusions. The possibility of improving the technology of installing the foundations of road clothes reinforced with cement and bitumen emulsion using the chemical additive MADOR as a drug that affects the durability of the structure being constructed has been established.
