This paper conducted an appraisal on the Aesthetic Impact of Carnival Calabar Bands Float and Theme interpretation. The Carnival, Calabar is composed of five competitive bands namely: Bayside, Passion 4, Seagull, Masta Blasta and the Freedom Band. The paper asserts that the beauty of the carnival is its acceptance by all strata of the society, irrespective of whether the rights of the citizens are breached or protected. The paper thus concludes that it has become for the state and its people an ideal tool for tourism and ultimately socio-economic development.
