Abstract

A computer-implemented autonomous employment agent system and method comprising: a continuous background opportunity monitoring module operating persistently without user interaction, monitoring a plurality of employment opportunity sources and normalising opportunity data into standardised opportunity data objects; a hard requirement pre-filter excluding from match scoring pipeline processing any opportunity data object containing hard requirements not satisfied by the user's structured profile, the pre-filter operating independently of and prior to match confidence score computation; an artificial intelligence match scoring engine computing match confidence scores for passing opportunities using vector similarity computation across weighted profile dimensions; an autonomous application submission module generating role-specific application documents and submitting applications without user intervention for opportunities where the match confidence score meets or exceeds a configurable confidence threshold having a default value of 0.80; an application quality scoring module evaluating generated applications against a quality rubric before submission in all operating modes; a preference learning system refining dimension weightings from accumulated user approval and rejection signals; a graduated autonomy mechanism enabling configurable user review and override capability; and a point-of-offer compliance profile integration mechanism comprising an offer detection classifier monitoring employer response communications for employment offer events, and upon offer detection querying a portable compliance profile system through a defined application programming interface to retrieve a current compliance state object, executing a validity and coverage assessment, and where conditions are satisfied executing a compliance profile sharing event enabling the employer to access the verified compliance state object through a time-limited reference code without requiring applicant user intervention.
