Abstract We present a study of various Bₒ B s meson decays, including hadronic and semileptonic final states with different spins and diagram topologies. The covariant confined quark model is employed to describe hadronic effects, and our analysis serves as a broad test of the current understanding of the underlying dynamics within the Standard Model. The level of agreement with experimental data varies across channels: it is good for the semileptonic decays Bₒ^0 Dₒ^- ^+ B s 0 → D s - μ + ν μ and Bₒ^0 K^- ^+ B s 0 → K - μ + ν μ ; acceptable for the hadronic modes Bₒ^0 Dₒ^-D^+ B s 0 → D s - D + and Bₒ^0 K^- ^+ B s 0 → K - π + ; marginal for Bₒ^0 Dₒ^- ^+ B s 0 → D s - π +, Bₒ^0 Dₒ^- ^+ B s 0 → D s - ρ +, and Bₒ^0 \, J/ B s 0 → ϕ <mml: m
