Dual-wavelength lasers are widely employed in the generation of millimeter waves, wavelength-division multiplexing systems, and Raman spectroscopy. Semiconductor lasers combine a simple chip-integrated architecture with stable output wavelength and narrow linewidth, making them well-suited to serve as a light source for the aforementioned applications. This paper proposes a hybrid-integrated dual-wavelength laser, which combines a semiconductor optical amplifier, an on-chip microring resonator, and a volume bragg grating. By precisely controlling the current and temperature parameters of the laser, dual wavelengths of 1560.454 nm and 1561.246 nm are generated, with linewidths of 6.73 kHz and 7.38 kHz. Optical beating of the dual-wavelength output produces a 97.4 GHz microwave signal with under 100 kHz frequency jitter. This laser is positioned to become a critical component in the research and development of dual-wavelength sources.
