Your systematic literature review (SLR) will take time, hard work and patience. This is a lot more prescribed than your usual comprehensive search of the literature. It is a highly systematic, pre-defined way of undertaking a critical review of the literature. SLRs are used extensively in clinical trials/health care research, and increasingly in other fields. The aim of this document is to help you develop a protocol that you and others can follow to answer your research question.
