This study examined the impact of overnight training sessions at evacuation shelters and subsequent evaluations by participants on discussions regarding issues within the shelter environment. Concretely, drills were conducted at a high school in the Nishikino area of Kuroshio Town, Kochi Prefecture, in both the peak summer and peak winter season. Most participants in the drills were high school students and teachers, so interviews and questionnaires were conducted with them. Additionally, their behavior during drills was analyzed through sequential evaluations using "Comfort level chart" and video recordings. As a consideration, it was implied that overnight drills conducted under unconventional conditions—specifically during the peak winter and peak summer seasons—may have contributed to identifying specific issues related to shelter environments.
