Abstract. This article theoretically substantiates the necessity of revisiting the epistemological foundations of higher education in the context of digital transformation. The rapid integration of modern digital technologies into the educational process is fundamentally changing not only pedagogical practice but also the underlying conceptions of knowledge and learning. The article analyzes traditional epistemological approaches-rationalism, empiricism, and constructivism-from the perspective of digital environment requirements. The concept of «digital epistemology» is introduced, which examines the formation, dissemination, and verification of knowledge through technological mediation.
