This paper aims to clarify the forms and their transformations of live-work integration in 185 buildings across 72 Kyoto hand-painted Yuzen workshops. The following results were obtained: First, ten of the thirteen occupations required a work areas less than 60 m². Second, counting adjacent buildings within the same workshop as one, there were 177 buildings, and 137 of these were live-work integration, classified into six forms based on occupied area and ground contact. Third, while 45 workshops maintained integration, others shifted to separation or later re-integrated, indicating a flexible adaptation to changes in production scale or individual circumstances.
