The military operations carried out in the distant regions need a continuous power supply for crucial military equipment, wherein the use of solar panels is affected by environmental factors and tactical requirements. Earlier harvesters using the phenomenon of piezoelectricity, such as our proposed rectifier-based system, were limited by their higher power losses and inability to support low voltages. The present work details a novel rectifier-free SI-based design for improved conversion efficiency and lower operating voltages. Results obtained using PZT-5H-based transducers along with SR support zero tactical obscurity, absolute independence from environmental factors, and minimizing the number of system components, thereby creating a paradigm shift in existing technologies by offering additional power for supplementary military operations.
