The article is dedicated to the memory of two outstanding scholars - Anatoly Nikolaevich Lutoshkin (1935–1979) and Anatoly Grigorievich Kirpichnik (1950–2021), whose anniversaries are celebrated in 2025. The focus is on the personality and academic-pedagogical legacy of A.N. Lutoshkin - a talented psychologist, organizer, author of the parametric theory of contact groups, and founder of the famous Komsorg camp. The article highlights his contributions to social psychology, methods of working with youth, as well as his personal qualities: charisma, empathy, and the ability to inspire students. A special place is given to the author’s recollections of collaborating with Lutoshkin and his influence on the professional development of colleagues. The relevance of his ideas in modern contexts and the importance of preserving his memory for new generations of psychologists and educators are emphasized.
