Russian Education: From Moscow to the Outskirts... (Based on the Materials of the 16th Round Table "Russian Education Today")

The need to improve all levels of the educational institution is obvious to parents, schoolchildren, students, teachers, employers, authorities. The opinion of scientists was presented at the 16th Round Table “Russian Education Today”, held at the Institute of Sociology of the Federal Scientific Research Center on February 12-13, 2024. Co-organizers were presented by the Department of Sociology of Education of the Institute of Sociology of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Research Committee “Sociology of Education” of the Russian Society of Sociologists, and the journal “Sociological Research”. In seven sections, 50 applications and 16 cities of the Russian Federation were presented - from Vologda to Chita. This review reflects the results of the work of seven sections, the topics of which went far beyond the stated theme of the year “Education and professional implementation”.
