We report the complete genome sequence of Escherichia coli L16-131 (4, 850, 597 bp chromosome) with five circular plasmids, isolated from Laguna Lake, Philippines. The isolate harbored multiple antimicrobial resistance genes (ARGs) ; most were computationally predicted to be carried by p1L16-131.
