What is truth? And why do some truths feel more certain than others? Energy-Efficiency Theory (EET) provides a rigorous, first-principles answer: all accessible cognition consists of models constructed under finite energy constraints. The form of truth a model attains is determined by the ultimate guarantor of its validity——real-space energy exchange (Natural Causality) or internal symbolic consistency (Rule Causality) ——discovered through the operation of causal tracing. This paper establishes the constitutional ontology of the Energy-Efficiency Truth Spectrum (EETS) as the complete classification of cognitive products generated by causal tracing. Version 4. 0 introduces four constitutional upgrades: 1. Constitutional Anchoring in Causality. We prove that every position in the Spectrum——truth form, C-Tier, S-Signature, D-Distance, Revision Mode——is the result of a causal tracing operation: following a cognitive product's chain of justification back to its ultimate guarantor. The Spectrum is not a framework external to causality; it is causality itself, applied to the evaluation of its own products. 2. Causal Foundations of the Static Dimensions. Each of the five static dimensions is anchored in a specific causal concept. C-Tier measures the causal meltdown barrier Eb^melt. S-Signature measures the causal compression ratio——the ratio of captured causal edges to actual constraint transitions. D-Distance measures the remaining causal verification energy. Revision Mode measures the causal network's plasticity. These anchors transform the Spectrum from a descriptive classification into a causally grounded coordinate system. 3. Ben-Shi Sliding as the Complete Driver of All Spectrum Transitions. We replace the earlier -driven qualitative description with a complete mathematical framework. All seven transitions——Energy-Level Transition (Common Proper), Energy-Level Collapse (Proper Common Fallacious), Cognitive Meltdown, Insight, Thermal Throttling, Proper Truth Drift, and Annealing——are given precise mathematical criteria in terms of, causal consistency C, and the response pool A (t). The C- phase plane is introduced, partitioned into five dynamical regions separated by four critical threshold curves. 4. Operationalization. We provide diagnostic tools for identifying a cognitive system's current position on the C- phase plane and for managing transitions among regions. The framework generates six new falsifiable predictions, anchored in the mathematical criteria of the seven transitions. The six fundamental forms are: Absolute Truth (unreachable asymptote), Proper Pseudo-Truth (energy-efficiency optimum under current), Common Pseudo-Truth (routine, unoptimized), Fallacious Pseudo-Truth (systematically inefficient), Rule Truth (valid by internal consistency), and Erroneous Rule (invalid derivation). The five-dimensional coordinate system provides complete static positioning; the Ben-Shi-driven seven-transition dynamics provide complete dynamic evolution.
