Abstract

In the article, the authors discuss current approaches to teaching foreign languages using innovative technologies and modern teaching methods. The authors explore the role of digital tools, such as remote platforms, interactive whiteboards, learning management systems, and QR codes in improving the quality of learning. The use of online resources, video and audio materials to create a stimulating speech environment is analyzed. Emphasizes the importance of individualized learning and community development programs for effective communication between students and teachers. The article highlights how the use of these innovations contributes to an active and effective process of learning foreign languages in higher education institutions. The purpose of the article is to analyze modern information methods and innovative technologies used in teaching foreign languages at the State University of Trade and Economics. In accordance with the goal, such research methods as logical analysis of methodological, philosophical, psychological and pedagogical literature, dissertations were used in order to clarify the state and prospects of the problem under study. It is noted that the study of foreign languages in modern society is becoming an integral component of the training of future specialists, and an important factor in increasing the effectiveness of teaching a foreign language is the use of innovative technologies. It has been established that the use of innovative technologies in teaching a foreign language makes it possible to achieve such results as increasing students' motivation to learn, activating their cognitive activity, developing critical thinking and creative abilities, developing communicative competence and digital skills. As a result of the study, the authors note that interactive classes, interactive whiteboards, virtual laboratories and games, learning management systems (LMS), the use of various multimedia resources (video lessons, audio podcasts, online resources), the use of services for checking grammar, expanding vocabulary and improving writing skills will contribute to the development of listening skills, learning grammar, developing digital skills and will increase the communicative competence of the students.
