Abstract

The review covers the results of the plenary session "Communicative risks in the media space and their urgency in educational, enlightening and linguistic expert discourses" held at the IX International Scientific Conference "Language in mass media coordinates". The purpose of the review is to introduce the scientific community to the work of the research group "Linguistic examination of media texts" of the International Association of Media Communication Language Researchers, with whose participation the conference has been held for the first time this year. The material of the study was scientific sources that laid the theoretical and practical foundations for linguistic expert work of philologists-practitioners in the field of media communication. The review presents the results of the plenary session, and also notes the priority areas of linguistic research, including the study of the relationship between media linguistic and linguistic expert approaches to media texts that contribute to the spread of communicative and legal risks.
