Learning independence is an attitude in individual learning to achieve goals and contribute actively to the learning process and not depend on other people. There are a number of factors that influence the development of learning independence, such as parental support and self-confidence. Students who have independent learning will be able to solve all the problems they face, especially in learning activities. The existing phenomenon shows that there are still students who have problems in learning independence, such as not evaluating their learning activities, easily giving up on tasks that they find difficult, and not seeking information from various learning sources. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of parental support and self-confidence on the learning independence of students at SDN Tanggul Sidoarjo. This research is a correlational quantitative research. The research population was 124 high class elementary school students at SDN Tanggul Sidoarjo
