The Orchestrated Objective Reduction (Orch-OR) theory proposes that consciousness arises from quantum processes in microtubules within neurons. However, the theory has faced challenges due to the lack of empirical evidence supporting its claims. In this study, we present a novel approach to validate the Orch-OR theory by integrating total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF) microscopy and kymograph analysis data with relevant datasets from the OpenNeuro platform. Our results provide strong empirical support for the key predictions of the Orch-OR theory, demonstrating the presence of quantum processes in microtubules and their correlation with conscious states. This interdisciplinary approach bridges the gap between theoretical quantum neuroscience and empirical observations, paving the way for a more comprehensive understanding of the nature of consciousness.
