Abstract

This work presents an effective theoretical framework in which the fundamental state of matter is compression. Gravity, time, and irreversibility emerge from a universal scalar compressive background defined over spacetime. The framework is formulated axiomatically, reduces to General Relativity in the constant-compression limit, and proposes testable deviations in macroscopic quantum systems.
