Uganda's Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system plays a crucial role in providing skills development opportunities for its population. This commentary draws on existing literature and expert interviews to analyse trends and propose solutions for enhancing skills development in Uganda's TVET system. The current TVET landscape requires strategic interventions to bridge the skills gap and improve accessibility for all segments of society. Investment in infrastructure, teacher training, and curriculum development are recommended to enhance the effectiveness and reach of Uganda's TVET system.
