Digital agriculture platforms have emerged as promising tools for enhancing agricultural productivity in developing countries like Cameroon. The review synthesizes data from existing studies published between and, employing a narrative synthesis approach with thematic analysis. A consistent theme across the reviewed literature is the significant positive correlation between digital platform usage and maize yields, though variability exists in adoption rates among different farmer groups. The review concludes that while digital agriculture platforms show promise for increasing maize yields, their successful implementation depends on tailored interventions addressing socio-economic barriers. Policymakers should consider offering subsidies or training programmes to facilitate the wider adoption of these technologies by small farmers in Northern Cameroon.
