Abstract Introduction Of the thousands of commercially available sexual health and wellness products on the market today, many can be used to promote health sexuality for patients of all ages and genders but due to the lack of awareness of many health professionals, these products are often overlooked. Objective The purpose of this poster session is to bring an awareness of these products to the professionals in attendance and what patient conditions may benefit from their use. The health professionals may be aware of similar products that are marketed specifically for medical use yet there exists parallel products made of the same materials, often at a more affordable price for the consumer. Methods As a professional in the sexual health and wellness products field for over three decades and working closely with doctors, therapists, physicians assistants and many others in the field, I have often been called upon to suggest products. This presentation will be a compilation of the most recent and most effective items to benefit patients presenting conditions such as vaginismus, post-cancer treatments, menopause, pelvic floor therapy, and more, while promoting general sexual health and happiness. Results Many of the referrals and training of health professionals that I have personally conducted, have led to positive outcomes both physically and mentally for the patients. With the knowledge of these products, as well as encouraging their safe use, the patient can more clearly understand what options they may have to benefit their sexual health and well being. Conclusions Once the health practitioner understands the varieties of products and awareness of their uses, and shares information about the features and benefits of them with their patients, it will encourage the patients to confidently and positively attain these items for their own personal comfort.
