This paper is part of a coherent research program developing an informationally emergent physical framework. P20 investigates the emergence of confinement-like behavior within the SU(3) sector derived from discrete informational geometry. The analysis introduces a characteristic coherence scale that governs the transition between coherent and incoherent regimes, showing how effective confinement phenomena arise as a consequence of informational stability and scale separation. The paper clarifies how long-range coherence constraints and scale-dependent dynamics lead to behavior analogous to confinement without assuming it as a fundamental property. This result provides an informational interpretation of confinement-like effects and prepares the ground for the emergence of effective particle spectra discussed in later papers. While this paper can be read independently, its full role is understood only within the complete sequence of papers (P00–P32).
