The decomposition of multitrait‐multimethod matrices

Existing models for multitrait‐multimethod matrices are evaluated and a new composite direct product model with a multiplicative property is proposed. The estimation of parameters in the composite direct product model is considered and an example of its application is provided. A cross‐validation to compare models is reported.
