Key Points

  • The aim is to prove the self-consistency of UD theory with quantum electrodynamics (QED) in low-energy conditions.
  • Analyzed effective field theory and dimensional analysis.
  • Calculated corrections using electron and muon anomalous magnetic moments.
  • Examined the hydrogen Lamb shift for observable effects.
  • New physics effects from UD theory are suppressed by a significant energy scale difference.
  • Corrections predicted are over 10 orders of magnitude below experimental precision.
  • UD theory is confirmed to be fully compatible with QED.

Abstract

This paper proves that in the low-energy microscopic regime (E ≪ MP ), UD theory naturally reduces to quantum electrodynamics (QED). Through effective field theory analysis and dimensional analysis, we demonstrate that any new physics effects from UD theory are suppressed by the enormous energy scale difference, with corrections of order (E/MP ) n . Taking the electron anomalous magnetic moment ae, the muon anomalous magnetic moment aµ, and the hydrogen Lamb shift as examples, calculations show that the corrections predicted by UD theory are more than 10 orders of magnitude below current experimental precision, making them completely unobservable. This proves that UD theory is fully compatible with QED, which has been verified over 70 years of experiments.
