This article discusses the role of anthroponyms in the national-cultural life of the people, the process of naming people with some motive since the formation of naming, the constant change and development of this process, which is directly related to historical developments, changes in social life and the worldview of people. The article presents modern motivs in the anthroponymy of the Uzbek people in groups, each modern motif is explained by examples.
