Abstract

EBV Vaccine Cong Sun, Zheng Liu, Mu-Sheng Zeng, and colleagues design a chimeric nanoparticle displaying multiple EBV glycoproteins in virion-mimicry pattern. It induces potent neutralizing antibodies against Epstein-Barr virus. This vaccine offers a new strategy to comprise multiple antigens upon nanoparticle to induce a native virus-like humoral response with enhanced immunogenicity. The cover image depicts battles between warriors and monster Tao-Wu from ancient Chinese myth. EBV, like monster Tao-Wu is difficult to fight, and the warrior use shield made from the horns of monsters to show the use of glycoproteins of EBV to efficiently combat with it.
