Abstract

Abstract. Structural Intelligence (SI) distinguishes coherence from contact and defines intelligence as answerable revision under constraint. This paper formalizes the completion of the SI architecture by integrating the mechanical links between individual presence, biological gating, and societal collapse. We define Presence (P) through a canonical equation and a reduced analytic relation to isolate systemic disturbances. Intrusion (I) is formalized as foreign agency load operationalized by occupancy (λt) of action selection. Structural Debt (Ds) is introduced as the conserved remainder of unmet contact created by substitution, subject to maintenance inflation. Somatic Capacity (Ccap) is established as the metabolic bandwidth that gates reality-processing. At the macro layer, Network Viscosity (V) and Epistemic Exchange Rate (Ex) explain the dominance of cheap coherence in the modern grid. Finally, Frictional Design (F) is presented as the interface standard for human–AI sovereignty.
