The article is devoted to the ethical requirements for the professional culture of a doctor, reveals the concept of the “professional culture of a doctor”, examines the basic ethical rules approved in the Russian Federation, and describes the key points of the medical specialty and ethics. The authors consider the basic principles of medical ethics and give examples of moral dilemmas faced by medical professionals in the modern world. The article uses the experience of domestic and foreign scientists, to confirm the fact that moral and ethical values differ depending on the culture and traditions and the place of birth of the patient.
