Abstract

Conventional agricultural practices encounter alarming challenges, such as diminishing water resources, and extreme weather conditions, resulting in reduced crop productivity and food availability for the rising global population. So, precision agriculture which is characterized by the integration of advanced cutting-edge technologies with agriculture, emerges as a strategic key for solving these challenges. The main objective of this research is to encourage everyone to indulge in farming and ease the agricultural processes. The urban population lacks familiarity with farming and faces time and space constraints. Whereas the passionate farmers who strive to adopt technology in agriculture face challenges due to the complexity of the interfaces and also language barriers. So, this paper addresses these problems by creating an IoT-based monitor and control system where the monitoring part uses a network of sensors to collect the field's environmental conditions. This data is sent to the cloud platform, where it is presented in clear visualizations, enabling the users to understand the crop conditions, trends, and needs. The system is controlled remotely using voice commands in various languages. Hence it provides enhanced accessibility to the users with hands-free interaction using voice commands and global accessibility. Integrating IoT technology in agriculture reduces water consumption by 35% and boosts wheat and rice crop yields by 20%. This integration enhances overall efficiency, achieving a 90% improvement.
