Teachers use various classroom management strategies to shape student behavior and to create a positive and productive learning environment that promotes student engagement, motivation and academic success. The study was conducted to find out the classroom management strategies used by the teachers for students’ behavior formation at secondary school level. The objective of study was to analyse the effects of classroom management strategies on students’ behavior formation. The study was descriptive in nature and cross-sectional survey was used. The population of study consisted 146 teachers from the government secondary schools of city Kotli. The researchers went with simple random sampling technique for the selection of the sample. The researcher selected one hundred and nine (109) teachers as a sample of study. The researchers constructed a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire as the sample of study. The Cronbach’s alpha was used to check the reliability of instrument which was 0.84. Data were collected by personal visits. The collected data were analyzed through SPSS by using mean score, frequency, standard deviation and percentage. The study found that secondary level teachers believe in building trusting relationships with students, engaging them in discussions, and creating a welcoming environment. It is recommended that teachers may celebrate student hard work by providing positive feedback and making challenges seem normal. They can build trust with students by delivering exceptional instruction and engaging them through self-assessment activities.
