Key Points

  • The study reveals the existence and uniqueness of solutions to the modified diffusion equation.
  • Key evidence includes the application of valid theorems from nonlinear analysis to show stability results.
  • An analysis of three major cases establishes foundational results in fractional order analysis.
  • Findings indicate potential applications of the modified diffusion equation in various mathematical frameworks.

Abstract

This article shows another display of the modified diffusion equation of fractional order involving Atangana–Baleanu–Caputo fractional derivative. The manuscript contains three major cases: the existence of a solution, uniqueness of the solution, and Hyers–Ulam stability, which are discussed based on valid theorems in nonlinear analysis. Further, we present some examples to confirm our achievements.
