The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the process of managerial decision-making in the context of the growing complexity and dynamism of the business environment. The work focuses on analysing the impact of intelligent technologies on the effectiveness, validity and quality of managerial activities in situations of high uncertainty. The key challenges faced by modern management when implementing AI technologies have been systematised and classified, including ethical issues, data protection, algorithm transparency, avoidance of technological dependence, and the need to adapt staff to new working conditions. The main groups of management decisions, which differ in content, scale, level of strategic importance and degree of risk, have been identified. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of a set of objective and subjective factors that influence the choice of management alternatives. These include external economic, social, political and technological conditions, as well as the individual characteristics of managers – their experience, intuition, level of responsibility and risk appetite. It has been proven that the integration of artificial intelligence into management practice contributes to increased forecasting accuracy, accelerated decision-making, optimised resource utilisation, and minimised human influence. AI enables the processing of large data sets, supports continuous monitoring of business processes, and allows for timely responses to changes in the external environment. At the same time, the need for a critical approach to its application is emphasised, given the potential risks and threats. The article summarises the main advantages of using AI in management, including improving the efficiency and soundness of decisions, forming an analytical basis for strategic planning, and strengthening the competitiveness of organisations. Along with this, the possible risks of integrating AI into business practice are analysed, and ways to minimise them are proposed through the harmonious combination of technological capabilities and the professional expertise of managers. Thus, the results of the study confirm that artificial intelligence can be a powerful tool for supporting management decisions, but its effectiveness directly depends on the level of readiness of organisations for digital transformation, awareness of risks, and the ability of management to integrate innovative technologies into their own practice.
