The Russian Civilizational Approach, Its Tasks and Implementation in Modern Russia

The paper presents the results of the comparative analyzes of a number of works by representatives of the civilizational approach to the perception of history in which the Slavic civilization and Russia, in particular, are touched upon. The role and tasks of Russia as the main representative of the Slavic civilization in the modern historical context are investigated. The concept of Eurasianism is also considered as one of the paradigms of Russian politics and as a way of implementing the Russian civilizational approach.
