In the form of a review, the specifics of the organization of activities for predicting natural and man-made emergencies in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation in relation to the creation of Arctic integrated rescue centers under the jurisdiction of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are considered. The main conclusion is that forecasting emergencies in the Arctic is an element of the implementation of state scientific and technical policy, an object of legal regulation and should be organized consistently, as the regulatory legal foundation is created and the infrastructure of the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergencies in this territory is developed. Arctic complexes of emergency rescue centers should not only have all the necessary equipment and specialists, but also be able to receive and effectively use predictive information from any scientific, industrial and other analytical sources in their area of responsibility (as well as in areas where segments of these zones overlap). In the final part of the article, measures are proposed to improve the mechanisms for organizing emergency forecasting in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, including through regulatory support.
