The problem of the relationship between identity and uniqueness of a person

The subject of this article is a comparative characterization of human identity and uniqueness in the context of psychological and philosophical approaches to defining a person. The article correlates identity and uniqueness in the context of human self-determination. The definition of human uniqueness features is compared from the standpoint of psychology and philosophy. The reasons for the difficulties of structuring personality in psychological knowledge are revealed, and the typification of personality levels (individual-personality-individuality) is also considered. The role of identity in determining a person's own actions is described. The role of existentials in the formation of human uniqueness is highlighted. The article considers the role of human freedom in the possibility of forming his identity. The relationship between identity and uniqueness in human activity is being determined. The irreducibility of personality to a set of unique traits is confirmed. The demarcation of human actions and their interpretation is carried out, as well as the relationship between them and human identity is determined. The reasons for considering the personality only as an integral structure are indicated. The research methodology is based on the results of achievements of psychological and socio-philosophical schools. The novelty of the research is to clarify the differences between approaches to a person in psychology and philosophy, in particular, the process of his comprehension of his own correlation with the world. The main conclusion can be noted that in psychology, only individual mental phenomena produced by humans are considered due to the impossibility of a holistic consideration of a person, and in philosophy, the main approach to defining a person at the moment is the existential approach, in which the peculiarity of a person is the derivation of essence from his existence. Further comprehension, evaluation of one's own actions, their correlation with social processes, the laws of the world, the definition of one's identity and belonging to something is fixed by identity. The main way to organize a comparative analysis was to determine how approaches to defining a person are considered in Russian psychology and irrational, as well as existential philosophy. The basis of the definition of a person in psychology is the demarcation of an individual, personality, subject of activity and individuality, in philosophy it is the consideration of a person holistically and his definition through the correlation of existence and essence.
