Key Points

  • The aim is to summarize significant advancements in inorganic chemistry, focusing on main group elements.
  • Analyzed recent developments in main group and transition metal chemistry.
  • Identified new reaction mechanisms and compounds synthesized in 2025.
  • Examined the role of coordination compounds in modern synthesis.
  • Discovered a triborattrianion with unique properties.
  • Characterized new aluminium compounds that bind to nitrogen.
  • Documented novel allotropes of nitrogen from two N3 fragments.
