The construction sector is one of the largest contributors for resource consumption and carbon emissions. This article addresses the application of Circular Economy principles in green building design as a strategy to reduce the environmental impact of the construction industry. Key approaches such as material reuse, energy efficiency, waste management and design adaptability are discussed. A case study is presented to illustrate the practical application of these principles and demonstrate their potential to promote resilient and sustainable urban development. The study emphasizes that integrating circularity into green buildings is essential to advance the ecological transformation of cities.
