Abstract

With the rapid popularization of intelligent technology in society, the problem of College Students’ English learning has been widely concerned, but there are still deficiencies in Autonomous English learning. This paper focuses on the impact of human-computer cooperative autonomous learning on College Students’ English learning ability, and analyzes it from three aspects: motivation, strategy and effectiveness. It is concluded that intelligent tools can enhance students’ initiative in autonomous learning of English and enhance their internal learning motivation through dynamic interaction and personalized service design. The three modes of human-computer cooperative autonomous learning also help different students’ learning. Regarding learning effectiveness, intelligent tools also have different degrees of empowerment in listening, speaking, reading and writing. For example, it provides personalized listening resources to meet diverse needs, simulates real-life oral communication environments to boost oral confidence, assists in the hierarchical analysis of reading materials to improve comprehension efficiency, and offers real-time feedback on writing logic and grammar to enhance the quality of compositions. Based on this, the paper proposes that intelligent tools can be used in an auxiliary role to effectively help learners’ Autonomous English learning through technology-enabled learning.
