Reclaiming Femininity

In our modern era, we are told that "value" is a vapor. In historical terms, a vapor is something that appears for a moment and then vanishes; it is a mist without weight, without truth, and without substance. The world's systems—from the "big screens" in our cities to the digital devices in our pockets—try to convince us that the human body is a vapor to be used, and the human mind is a marketplace to be sold. But as followers of the Sovereign, we know the truth: The human person is a Substance. We are created as the Imago Dei—the Image of God. This image is eternal, heavy with glory, and carries an infinite price tag. When we allow pornography or the "showy" objectification of the media to enter our vision, we are trading the gold of God's substance for the cheap vapor of a screen. This audit is a call to High-Integrity Stewardship. It is time to flip the tables in the "temple" of our culture and reclaim the dignity of the human vessel.
