The article analyzes the quality of legal regulation of proceedings for the consideration and resolution of issues related to the execution of a sentence, notes its gaps, conflicts of law, inconsistencies with the norms of criminal, penal and other legislation, indicates the circumstances that influenced the occurrence of defects in legal regulation in the "execution of sentence" segment, suggests ways to solve doctrinal and legislative problems in the area under study.
