We report the case of an elderly man with rapidly progressive violaceous, reticulated plaques on the limbs, ultimately diagnosed as Kaposi sarcoma after multiple biopsies and confirmation of HHV-8 on immunohistochemistry. The case demonstrates an unusually rapid and widespread presentation of classic Kaposi sarcoma, which typically follows a slower and more localised course. It highlights the importance of early recognition, repeat biopsy when clinical suspicion persists, and multidisciplinary management to guide appropriate care.
