This paper reframes thermal devices as coherence routing architectures within the MID/QC framework. Classical models of conduction, convection, and radiation are replaced by substrate-native mechanisms: gradient smoothing, coherence mobility, alignment penalties, and emission geometry. Devices such as heat pipes, radiators, insulators, thermal diodes, metamaterials, and phase change systems are interpreted as coherence pathway sculptors.
