Description (Abstract) This work establishes intrinsic resistance to environmental degradation as a necessary structural admissibility condition for materials and material systems that claim durability, stability, reliability, or long-term functionality under real operating environments. The analysis is non-constructive and does not disclose any specific compositions, additives, coatings, inhibitors, encapsulation methods, or protective processes. Instead, it formalizes a boundary condition under which a claimed material identity must preserve functional integrity under relevant environmental exposures without relying primarily on continuous external protection, consumable stabilization, environmental isolation, or procedural maintenance to suppress predictable degradation mechanisms. The framework constrains patentability at the level of enablement, inventive step, and industrial applicability and applies uniformly across materials domains. This document functions as prior art defining admissibility, not as a technical teaching.
