The PATTERN (Empowering Open and Responsible Research and Innovation) project addresses a critical need in the European Research Area, by equipping researchers at all stages of their careers with skills in Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and Open Science (OS). Since January 2023, the project has been developing and piloting training modules in 8 thematic areas: Open Access, FAIR RDM, Citizen Science, Research Integrity, Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination, Science Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation of Results, and Research Management and Leadership. This poster describes how training resources were co-created in the thematic area of FAIR Research Data Management (RDM), led by thematic leaders DANS. The poster was first presented by Deborah Thorpe of DANS in Amsterdam at the final conference of the CATALISI project, in November 2025 (https://catalisi.eu/catalisi-final-conference-at-vrije-universiteit-amsterdam/). The poster explains: What the PATTERN project is, in a nutshell How the project partners, led by thematic leaders DANS, co-created training in FAIR RDM The core FAIR RDM training portfolio, including how Project Based Learning (PBL) was incorporated How OpenPlato was used to creare self-paced learning What the project planned to do next as of the end of 2025 This poster was an output of the PATTERN project (Grant Agreement No 101094416).
