Learning outcomes Case overview/synopsis This case study describes how Mr. Ashok, at National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM), along with his colleague Archana Eshwarlal, implemented an extensive development program for women technocrats to address their career growth needs in the context of India. The case further highlights how NASSCOM formed a partnership with major information technology firms in India to achieve greater impact from their upskilling initiatives on women tech employees, thus achieving higher inclusion of females in leadership roles. Complexity academic level This case may be used at the graduate and postgraduate level for courses such as Training and Development, Diversity and Inclusion and Career Management to discuss topics such as inclusive growth, the importance of having gender parity, for teaching Organizational Justice Theory’s implications, for showing how to do training need analysis, issues with training delivery and career progression.
